Reporting to the President, the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. S/he will be responsible and lead the financial operations, develop and manage the annual budget, direct all human resource matters, coordinate with the President the strategic planning for the organization, and ensure that the procedures and systems are in place for a productive and positive working environment. The C.O.O will support and leverage the Presidents efforts to raise visibility and build capacity of organization.Requirements:This position requires a Bachelors degree and 7+ years of experience as a senior operations executive, with a proven track record in the areas of managing senior staff members, information systems, HR, budget development, and financial management. S/he will be an organized and outstanding leader with excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor. A graduate degree and experience with managing IT, web development, and fundraising a plus. Familiarity with Quickbooks preferred.
