CDI is currently looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team.
Location: Tarrytown, NY (NY-Westchester)
Technician needed for a 3 month+ contract position.
Responsibilities:
Provide Electronic Troubleshooting and Technician support to Engineers as necessary.
Tasks involve troubleshooting and maintenance of newly design embedded electronics, and the assembly and maintenance of Test Stations and the execution of Functional Test Procedures on these newly designed electronics.
Required Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot complicated Electronic Assemblies.
Ability to read Schematics.
Ability to execute Functional Testing on Electronic Assemblies
Excellent Laboratory skills, use of appropriate Electronic Test Equipment, DMMs Oscilloscopes, etc.
Good organizational skills
SMT rework skills
Ability to Build Cables from drawings and from article.
Ability to construct Electromechanical Test Assemblies from drawings.
Familiarity with use and operation of Windows based PCs for Testing.
VBASIC or Labview Programming experiences a plus.
